Contact Truss Calculator
A result you donβt understand, a geometry value that looks wrong, a feature you wish existed, or a partnership idea β this page routes your message to the person who can actually help. Every calculation question is answered by someone who can re-run the math and check your numbers.
Two-Business-Day Goal
Most emails get a real human answer within two business days. Correction reports that affect calculator output are prioritized.
Answered by Someone Who Knows the Math
Every message is read by someone who can re-run the geometry or the stiffness solver and check your numbers β not a script that pastes links back at you.
One Inbox Per Purpose
Sending to the right directory entry skips a routing step. Unsure? Use support@ and we will forward it internally.
Pick the Right Inbox
Four routes, four inboxes β each one lands with someone who can act on it.
Sizing Help
Calculation & Results Support
A rafter length, purlin count, or member force not matching what your plans or supplier expected? Send your inputs β span, pitch, overhang, on-center spacing (for the geometric tab) or truss geometry, loads, and supports (for the analysis tab) β along with the result you expected versus the result returned.

Report a Formula or Preset Error
Our engine runs exact roof geometry (Pythagorean lengths, pitch factors, fencepost counts) and the direct stiffness method for structural analysis. If any output, preset truss, or guide statement disagrees with your hand calculation or engineering reference, send the page URL and the exact numbers. We verify before changing anything.

Feature Requests & Ideas
Want more preset truss types, load combinations, custom section properties, PDF exports of the force table, a gable-end or dormer mode, or a saved-projects feature? We build around what framers, contractors, and serious DIYers actually need in the field.

Partnerships & Trade Education
Lumberyards, truss manufacturers, building-supply retailers, trade schools, and apprenticeship programs β we are open to white-label licensing, classroom integrations, printed reference companions, and co-developed estimating tools.
partners@truss-calculator.comResponse Times by Topic
Every message gets read; different topics move at different speeds because of the verification they require. Here is what to expect and what speeds each one up.
| Topic | Send to | Typical first reply | What speeds it up |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calculation & results help | support@truss-calculator.com | 1β2 business days | Exact inputs (span, pitch, overhang, spacing β or geometry, loads, supports) plus expected vs. returned results |
| Formula / preset error report | corrections@truss-calculator.com | Priority β 1β2 business days | Page URL, your inputs, the result shown, and the reference you checked it against |
| Feature requests | feedback@truss-calculator.com | 3β5 business days | The problem you are trying to solve, not just the feature β real field use cases drive the roadmap |
| Partnerships & education | partners@truss-calculator.com | 2β3 business days | Your organization, the audience you serve, and the integration you have in mind |
Quick Answers
Three questions we hear most from framers, builders, and DIYers.
How do I get a faster reply?
Include the exact inputs you entered β for the geometric tab: span, pitch, overhang, spacing, and prices; for the analysis tab: truss type or custom geometry, loads, and supports β plus the result you expected and the result the calculator returned. That single sentence usually lets us reproduce and explain the difference in one reply.
Do you offer live chat or phone support?
Not yet. Email lets us verify every answer against the actual geometry and structural math before responding, which matters when the topic is structural safety. We read every message and answer most within two business days.
Can you review my roof plan or truss design?
We can help you understand what a calculator result means, why a member shows the force it does, or how a pitch change affects your material list. We cannot approve or stamp designs β plan review and approval belong to a licensed engineer or a certified truss manufacturer and your local building department.
What to Include for a Fast Reply
- Browser & device (for UI glitches)
- Exact inputs: span, pitch, overhang, spacing β or truss geometry, loads, and supports
- The result you expected vs. the result shown
- Page URL or section title if a guide or reference looks wrong

The three most-used inboxes, one tap away. Attach a screenshot of your calculator inputs if you can β it halves the back-and-forth.
